Moto2 Misano FP3: Raul Fernandez quickest overall

Raul Fernandez was the fastest rider overall in the Moto2 sessions at Misano.

It was a Fernandez 1-2 in the Moto2 FP3 session with the Q2 spots confirmed for later on today with a star-studded cast led by the Fernandez duo of Raul Fernandez leading Augusto by 0.195 seconds with Remy Gardner coming in third place, the Ajo riders continue to dominate with the pair split by 39 seconds in the Moto2 standings, Fernandez is making some strong progress at the moment and is still within reach of the championship as a rookie.

Sam Lowes finished up in fourth ahead of Marcel Schrotter and Xavi Vierge, the pair joined by Stefano Manzi who is making a rare Q2 appearance after struggling a lot this year in the Pons squad. There were some surprising names in the Q2 session including Somkiat Chantra and Niccolo Bulega, Bulega especially has surprised after struggling quite significantly this year sat in P26 in the standings, he beat Jake Dixon by 0.005 to demote the Brit down to Q1. Joining Dixon in Q2 will be Joe Roberts, Thomas Luthi and Celestino Vietti.
