Ex-Moto3 World Champion Jorge Martin takes his first Moto2 pole by 0.181 over Jorge Navarro

Following a disappointing race at Qatar which saw the Spaniard run at the front before dropping into the sub 20’s due to an issue, he has struck back with pole position at Jerez.

Jorge Martin proved why he is the fastest Jorge around Jerez in Moto2, beating Jorge Narvarro by 0.181.

British rider Sam Lowes makes a welcome return to the front row just 0.300 off of pole.

Injured Marco Bezzecchi impresses with a P5 followed by rookie Aron Canet in P6.

Lorenzo Baldassarri rounds off the top 10.
