MotoGP Emilia Romagna FP2: Jack Miller shoots to the top of the timesheets

Jack Miller led the way in the FP2 session at Misano by one second to P2.

The Ducati’s are on fire! It’s a Ducati 1-2 with Jack Miller leading the way in FP2 ahead of Johann Zarco who was the quickest rider in the FP1 session this morning. The session was run on a drying track which are conditions favoured by Jack Miller who consistently likes to slide his way around drying tracks running on the limit, because of this it is absolutely no surprise he was able to lead Zarco by 0.927 seconds gaining himself a provisional Q2 spot.

Aleix Espargaro finished overall in third place, the Aprilia man finishing only 0.059 seconds behind Zarco and looking impressive, we know he is a superb talent when the conditions get trickier and his position overall backs this up, he leads a KTM duo of Iker Lecuona then Miguel Oliveira, Lecuona another rider who seems to unlock his inner speed in wet conditions rocketing his way up the timesheets to P4 leading KTM teammate Miguel Oliveira to P5.

Luna Marini took home P6, we know he is rapid in the wet with his strong P5 in Austria when he risked it all to ride around on slicks on a soaking wet track meaning he is well and truly in his element this weekend ahead of Lorenzo Savadori in P7 who got to Q2 at a wet Le Mans earlier this year, he led Francesco Bagnaia as Danilo Petrucci makes his way into the top 10 with Jorge Martin rounding it off.

Further down the order we saw some familiar faces down the order with Marc Marquez in P14, Alex Rins in P15 and Fabio Quartararo in P16.
