Speaking after the test, Redding had only good things to say ahead of 2021, reflecting on the 2020 season saying, “The most important thing is the confidence I have gained, I feel relaxed and the pressure is off my shoulders for 2021 as I am not trying to prove myself in my first year, I have done that and I feel confident.” As the saying goes, ‘a confident rider is a fast rider.’

“Ducati believes in me, the team believe in me and I believe in them, we have some momentum to us. We took it [the title fight] to the last round, if we go to the last round in 2021, I expect to be on top.” Beaming pure confidence ahead of 2021, he admits the bike has some things to improve on and be better and they tested some new parts at the test at Estoril which he expects will help majorly in 2021.
