WSBK Estoril: Scott Redding goes P1 again in FP2

Scott Redding is on fine form at Estoril, taking P2 yet again in FP2 ahead of tomorrows race 1.

It is highly possible that Jonathan Rea will win the WSBK title tomorrow, needing to finish higher than P13 to take the title, even if Redding wins the race.

If Redding wins the race tomorrow, he will know deep down he has done his best as a rookie to take it to Rea down to the very last race weekend, not even Bautista could achieve this.

Yamaha once again were strong in P2 and P3 with Toprak Razgatlioglu in P2 and Loris Baz in P3. Kawasaki were able to round off the top 5 with Jonathan Rea in P4 and teammate Alex Lowes in P5.

Garett Gerloff was able to take another top 6 result in P6 and has been on a high in the second half of the season, impressing Yamaha enough to re-sign him.

Chaz Davies took P7 ahead of Jonas Folger in P8 who is wildcarding this weekend at Estoril.

Michael van der Mark was the ninth fastest rider in his last Yamaha FP2 session, Leon Haslam rounded off the session 0.997 from P1.
