MotoGP Aragon: Franco Morbidelli leads FP3 as Quartararo crashes heavily

Franco Morbidelli takes the top spot in the Aragon FP3 session to complete the set after a P2 and P3 in FP1 and FP2.

Franco Morbidelli leads the way in FP3 at Aragon, launching himself into Q2 with a pole position challenge.

Cal Crutchlow was the second-placed man, impressively saving a potentially huge crash at the same place which took down Fabio Quartararo.

Pol Espargaro is making the KTM work for him with third place ahead of Joan Mir who seems to have sorted his demons and goes through to Q2 instead of via Q1 which we normally see.

Alex Marquez is also making major improvements, P5 for the Spanish rider ahead of fellow Honda rider Takaaki Nakagami.

Alex Rins occupies the P7 spot, also going into P16 after qualifying in P16 at Le Mans, Rins finishes ahead of Aleix Espargaro who is going fast on the Aprilia this weekend.

KTM duo of Miguel Oliveira and Brad Binder lock out the top 10 with Binder 0.987 from P1.

Fabio Quartararo sits in P15 after a huge crash however goes into Q2, the team have confirmed there is nothing broken.
