Jerez MotoGP: Petronas Yamaha dominate FP2
Franco Morbidelli sets the pace in FP2 ahead of teammate Fabio Quartararo with surprise Brad Binder in P3
Petronas SRT have once again proven that they are a true threat topping the timesheets in FP2 with Franco Morbidelli leading his teammate Fabio Quartararo by 0.027.
KTM rookie Brad Binder has shocked a few people and taken P3 overall by 0.125, proving to be fast straight out of the gate.
Repsol Honda riders Marc and Alex Marquez both suffered crashes during the session however Marc Marquez recovered to finish in P4 just 0.244 off of the pace. Once again we had multiple KTM’s in the top 10 with Pol Espargaro taking P5.
Another rookie impressed, 20 year old Iker Lecuona took P12 and Miguel Oliveira was once again the slowest KTM.
Valentino Rossi seemed to have various issues in the session finishing in P20.
