MotoGP Europe: Pol Espargaro takes an impressive pole position
Pol Espargaro takes pole position at the Europe GP in Valencia.
Pol Espargaro takes a shock pole position at the European GP at Valencia, pulling a great lap out of the back, saying he went “all in” to get the lap time.
Alex Rins joined Espargaro on the front row, putting his qualifying demons to bed in great style with a P2 finish ahead of Takaaki Nakagami who took pole position last time out, hopefully, this time round, Nakagami can get the job done.
Johann Zarco took the fourth spot with pace for even better, leading the second row he has more in the tank, he starts ahead of Joan Mir who has qualified in P5, a great place to be able to go for the race win tomorrow, Jack Miller joins the pair on the second row.
Aleix Espargaro on the Aprilia did very well, opening the third row, qualifying in P7 ahead of Miguel Oliveira then Franco Morbidelli, both race winners this season.
Brad Binder rounded off the top 10 with Fabio Quartararo and Andrea Dovizioso joining him on the fourth row.
