MotoGP Le Mans: Jack Miller tops the FP2 session

Jack Miller is the fastest man in the dry FP2 session, lapping nearly 10 seconds faster than FP1.

Jack Miller tops FP2 with a time of 1:34.133 which is nearly 10 seconds faster than Bradley Smiths FP1 time of 1:43.804.

Miller was one of the first riders to go out on slicks as he does so well, slicks and wet tracks are not something new for Miller thinking back to when he took pole at a wet Argentina on slicks in 2018.

Miller beat second-placed man Maverick Vinales who ran on in a corner partway into the session before rejoining in front of Mir, causing some commotion between the pair, Vinales finished ahead of Takaaki Nakagami who had a strong session before a crash later on.

Johann Zarco was the fourth-placed man, suffering a mechanical issue during FP2 at his home track, leading Valentino Rossi who closes the top 5.

Italian Danilo Petrucci who was a podium finisher this time last year at Le Mans was in sixth place leading Honda duo of Cal Crutchlow then Alex Marquez who is making major progress.

Franco Morbidelli was the ninth fastest man with Pol Espargaro in tenth place, 1.242 seconds from P1.
