MotoGP Emilia Romagna: Luca Marini breaks Moto2 lap record, Jaume Masia tops FP2 in Moto3
Luca Marini has set a new Moto2 lap record, a week after Sam Lowes set it in qualifying, in Moto3 Jaume Masia leads FP2.
Luca Marini continues his Moto2 title charge, telling everyone who he really is, breaking the Moto2 lap record by 0.200 just after it was smashed by Sam Lowes.
Aron Canet was second place, also under Lowes’ lap record in a phenomenal rookie season for the Spaniard, he leads Marcel Schrotter who suffered a crash in the session.
Sam Lowes was the fourth fastest rider joined by Joe Roberts in P5. Marco Bezzecchi was next up, the rider suffered a crash in the session and limped off the track before riding back to the pits.
Xavi Vierge continues the Petronas SRT progress, slowly getting closer to the front with Jorge Navarro behind him, then his teammate Jake Dixon in P9.
Lorenzo Baldassarri was able to creep into the top 10, finishing 0.638 from P1.

Jaume Masia leads the way in the lightweight class ahead of Celestino Vietti then Tatsuki Suzuki who finished on the podium last time out.
Andrea Migno and Raul Fernandez take the next two spots with Fernandez leading FP1, Filip Salac rolled up in sixth place behind them, finding form here.
Dennis Foggia leads a KTM trio to P10 of Stefano Nepa, Ayumu Sasaki then title leader Alberto Arenas in P10.
