MotoGP: Hafizh Syahrin to make comeback at Misano

Hafizh Syahrin will make his Moto2 return following his horrific crash in Austria.

During the first race in Austria, Hafizh Syahrin suffered a huge crash at high speed when he hit the stricken bike of Enea Bastianini which was lay on the track, the crash sent Syahrin flying down the track, landing around 30 metres from the initial impact.

he crash shocked many fans watching, praying for the safety of Syahrin, thankfully he did not sustain serious injuries, suffering only a bruised pelvis, he even tried to race the weekend after, failing a fitness test, a true testament to the mental and physical strength these riders have to keep on racing.

Syahrin has had three weeks to recover from the accident and will attempt to ride at Misano, following a pass on his medical test. He will not be at 100% but will give it his best shot saying, “I am looking forward to racing again after missing the last Grand Prix due to the crash in Austria. I like the Misano circuit, but I still don’t know what condition I’ll be in, we’ll see after the first free practice.”

We look forward to seeing Syahin back on track this weekend.
