MotoGP – Marc Marquez to miss Styrian GP
Repsol Honda has announced Marc Marquez will miss next weekend’s Styrian GP, to be held at the Red Bull Ring.
The news comes as Marquez continues his recovery from an arm injury sustained at the Jerez GP after a crash, which has kept him out of the following 3 rounds.
He tried to return at the Andalucia GP but found it was too difficult to ride after having arm surgery so soon, and so missed out on the race. He then aimed to be back for the Czech GP but was found to be unfit after breaking the metal plate in his arm, said to be by “opening a window” at home.
His replacement Stefan Bradl has struggled to make inroads into the points so far in 2020, and Honda will be hoping their number 1 rider will return sooner rather than later.
