Moto2, Moto3 and MotoE results from Session 1 of testing at Jerez

Session 1 of testing for all 4 classes has been completed at Jerez, here are the Moto2, Moto3 and MotoE times, led by Thomas Luthi, John McPhee and Dominique Aegerter respectively

In Moto2 Veteran Thomas Luthi leads the way ahead of Luca Marini, Sam Lowes occupied the third place. Championship leader Tetsuta Nagashima finished the session in P5, a solid result for the Japanese rider with Marco Bezzecchi taking P10.

MOTO2 JEREZ

Scot John McPhee got a good start leading Jaume Masia by 0.330 who was followed by Tatsuki Suzuki. Czech rider Filip Salac ended the session in P4, fresh off of re-signing with the Snipers team for 2021. Championship leader Albert Arenas took P9 overall.

 

It has been an instant adaptation for Dominique Aegerter in MotoE who topped the session followed by Xavier Simeon then the 2019 champion Matteo Ferrari. Australian rider Josh Hook took an impressive P6 with rookie Jordi Torries taking P9. Jakub Kornfeil had his first ride on the MotoE bike today and spent the session adapting to the bike.
