Leon Camier has parted ways with Barni Ducati
Barni Racing team have announced they have parted ways with Leon Camier after only one race weekend, which he did not complete.
The separation comes after Camier had to undergo surgery for a chronic shoulder problem, only to find out the problem did not get fixed and will require more time on the operating table.
They have agreed upon a mutual separation, as Camier is struggling to overcome said shoulder problem sustained at the Aragon test last winter, and he attempted to partake in the latest test before realising he just could not ride how he would like. The split has been agreed as the best course of action for all parties involved.
In the frame to take the seat for Jerez are Randy Krummenacher and Marco Melandri, both of whom have tested the bike recently in Camier’s absence.
