WorldSBK Most FP3: Scott Redding takes the top spot in Most
After a day of rain yesterday, we finally get some dry weather in Most.
Scott Redding battled Jonathan Rea for the top spot in the FP3 session in the Czech Republic with the pair separated by a tiny 0.053 seconds ahead of the Pata Yamaha duo of Andrea Locatelli then Toprak Razgatlioglu. Locatelli has been in superb form recently with his recent podium firing him into the top positions and it looks like he’s there to stay, the rookie is really really impressing and with two Petronas Yamaha MotoGP seats available it’s certainly motivation for the Italian rider.
Garrett Gerloff was the fifth fastest rider and the third carriage in a Yamaha train, the American finishing the session as the fastest independent rider as he does so well ahead of Tom Sykes then wildcard Marvin Fritz who is seriously impressing this weekend with a P4 yesterday and a P7 today, he and his teammate have been within the top 10 consistently and honestly are showing signs of deserving more chances here in the WorldSBK championship.
Alex Lowes was sandwiched between the IXS-YART boys with Michael Ruben Rinaldi rounding off the top 10 ahead of the HRC boys.
