Moto3 Doha Warm Up: Poleman Jaume Masia leads the pack

Poleman and championship leader Jaume Masia was the fastest man in the Moto3 Warm Up session.

Jaume Masia continues to prove his worth this year in Moto3 leading the warm up session following from a race win last weekend and pole position yesterday, the Spanish rider is showing a lot of promise this year and truly is a title contender in the lightweight class, he leads Andre Migno in the session, Migno praying to his lucky stars for an incident-free race after he was involved in an accident last weekend and was taken out of the race.

Gabriel Rodrigo finished in third place ahead of rookie Izan Guevara who suffered a crash in turn 5 in his second lap of the session, he was taken away on a stretcher and is in the medical centre with some pain in his hand, we are hoping the rookie can race, he was incredibly unhappy with P10 in qualifying yesterday despite it only being his second race in the class, he led Darryn Binder in fifth place.

Sergio Garcia was the sixth-fastest man and will start the race from the pit lane despite qualifying in P2, he was found guilty of irresponsible in the FP2 session and has been handed a pit lane start, in P7 0.491 from P1 is Tatsuki Suzuki who majorly impressed after missing the entirety of pre-season testing, he leads compatriot Ayumu Sasaki in P8 as Niccolo Antonelli and John McPhee round off the top 10.
