MotoGP Teruel: Franco Morbidelli wins in a dominant fashion – Full Results
It wasn’t as eventful as recent races but we needed that, Franco Morbidelli stayed relaxed and won.
Frankie said relax and you know he meant it, taking his second career MotoGP race win following his victory at Misano, this result has moved him up to P4 overall in the MotoGP standings, 25 points from title leader Joan Mir.
Suzuki once again doubled up the podium with Alex Rins taking second place, a great result given his awful luck in the start of the season, he finished ahead of his teammate Joan Mir who extends his title lead, he is yet to win a race but despite this, he has been incredibly strong unlike his rival Fabio Quartararo who finished in P8, not where you want to be when fighting for a title.
The race started with heartbreak with Takaaki Nakagami crashing out of what could’ve been a race he won.
