Moto2: Jake Dixon: “We’ll definitely be back stronger this weekend”
Following from an outstanding performance in Le Mans when Jake Dixon led the Moto2 race, he is going to Aragon more motivated than ever.
Jake Dixon was able to prove people wrong and lead the Moto2 race at Le Mans, putting in a dominant performance before crashing out in the last few laps in a heartbreaking scenario.
We now head to Aragon for two back-to-back races, meaning it’s likely we will see a repeat of Misano with the pace picking up dramatically in the second race weekend at the track, this will be perfect for the British rider who will be able to use his data from weekend one and translate this into weekend two to pick up a great result and continue this forward momentum he has been gaining all season.
Speaking about Aragon and what he expects he said, “Despite what happened in France, I know I can be fast and I’m looking at being that fast at the final five races of this year.”
“I’ve put the result behind me and we focus on taking the positives with us to Aragón this weekend; I was leading the race and we know we have a good pace. We’ll definitely be back stronger this weekend and I’m looking forward to seeing what we can do.
“We’ve seen previously this season that doing two races in a row at the same circuit is positive for us as I’m able to find another step with that extra experience, so I hope we can repeat this feeling in MotorLand Aragon.”
We are looking forward to seeing what can happen, that race win is not far off.
