Moto3 Teruel: Raul Fernandez takes 5th pole of the season – Full Results

Raul Fernandez has taken his fifth pole position of the season at the Teruel round.

“Oops I did it again” can be quoted here, thanks Britney Spears. Raul Fernandez, the King of the Pole position in 2020 has taken his fifth pole position of the season.

Fernandez took his first podium in the world championship last weekend in the Aragon round and hopes to improve that this weekend at the Teruel round taking yet another pole position.

In second place, title contender Tony Arbolino hopes to recoup some of the points lost last weekend being forced to sit out due to a passenger on his flight testing positive for COVID-19,

Third place went to Celestino Vietti, yet another Moto3 title contender will start from the front row whilst the title leader Albert Arenas starts from the middle of the second row in P5.

Gabriel Rodrigo heads the second row ahead of Arenas, fresh from re-signing with the Gresini Moto3 team for 2021.

Ayumu Sasaki closes off the second row, hoping to make a step this weekend and take his first Moto3 podium.

Row three was led by Jaume Masia who won the last race at Aragon ahead of Japanese trio of Kaito Toba, Tatsuki Suzuki and Ai Ogura in P10.

John McPhee had a disaster in qualifying and starts from P17.
