WSBK Catalunya: Michael van der Mark wins the Superpole race – Full results
Michael van der Mark has become the sixth different WSBK winner this season.
It was an incredibly dramatic race which saw Alvaro Bautista hi-side out of the lead, narrowly missing out on Rea and Van der Mark.
Jonathan Rea would take second place whilst Loris Baz rounded off the podium from P8 on the grid.
Chaz Davies impressed in a battle with rookie Garrett Gerloff, the American rider getting stronger each race, P5 is now Gerloff’s best result.
Scott Redding struggled in the race only finishing in P8, allowing Rea to extend his title lead.
