MotoGP Austria: Remy Gardner and Raul Fernandez take pole in Moto2 and Moto3
Remy Gardner is back to the front in Moto2 taking pole position at Austria, in Moto3 Raul Fernandez takes pole position doubling up on last weekends pole.
Remy Gardner is back on the pace again taking the Moto2 pole position over Jorge Martin by a mere 0.036 with Marcel Schrotter completing the front row 0.064 from pole.
On row 2 Enea Bastianini leads the way followed by rookie Aron Canet and Sam Lowes who led every session so far.
Jorge Navarro on the Speed Up is the fastest man on row three ahead of Luca Marini then Thomas Luthi.
Marco Bezzecchi closes the top 10 just 0.250 from pole, highlighting the tiny gap between first and 10th.
Moto2 Q2 Results:
Moto3
Moto3 was a scrap as always with Raul Fernandez taking pole by just 0.011 over Albert Arenas with John McPhee on the front row also just 0.029 from pole.
Row two was led by Jaume Masia who was also in the 0.100 bracket only 0.094 from Fernandez, Celestino Vietti is the first man out of the 0.100 bracket in fifth place followed by Tatsuki Suzuki.
The third row headed by Gabriel Rodrigo held a surprise in ninth place of Riccardo Rossi with his best Moto3 qualifying to date, sandwiched between the pair is Tony Arbolino.
Deniz Oncu is the 10th placed rider just 0.479 from pole.
