Moto3 Indonesia FP2: Andrea Migno finishes the day in P1
The top 16 were covered by less than one second as Migno leads.
Andrea Migno led the way after a late battle for lap times in the Moto3 session as all the riders scrambled to try and secure a provisional Q2 spot as the threat of rain looms for tomorrow morning. The times improved by a full 10 seconds from this morning’s session which was set under tricky, damp conditions, now with a dry track the riders were able to risk more to attack for a time.
It was Migno who led the way over Carlos Tatay with Moto3 title favourite Dennis Foggia in third place 0.299 seconds back from the leaders, joining this trio in the top five are the one-man-band Ayumu Sasaki who is missing his teammate through injury and Izan Guevara.
Deniz Oncu was the sixth-fastest rider ahead of Riccardo Rossi and Jaume Masia as the rookies took over the reins thanks to Scott Ogden’s lap time worthy of P10 with three other rookies joining him in provisional Q2 spots including Elia Bartolini, Ivan Ortola and Diogo Moreira.
