MotoGP: Aprilia unveil 2022 RS-GP

Aprilia have unveiled their 2022 MotoGP machine with riders Maverick Vinales and Aleix Espargaro.

2022 looks to be the best year yet for Aprilia with a strong showing in pre-season testing with top 5 overall finishes for both riders. Both bikes debuted upgraded parts at Sepang with all passing endurance tests, they also boast a strong rider lineup of Maverick Vinales and Aleix Espargaro meaning they are not there to just take part this year.

Maverick is a proven MotoGP race winner doing so for both Suzuki and Yamaha, he aims to be only the 6th rider in history to win a race for three different manufacturers and has all the tools at his disposal to be able to achieve this after his defection from Yamaha over to Aprilia in 2021.

Aleix Espargaro handed Aprilia their first MotoGP podium last year at Silverstone and has high hopes of repeating this feat again this year, could he finally achieve the goal of winning a Grand Prix race? Only time will tell.

Behind the scenes their superstar test rider Lorenzo Savadori has been putting in the work to bring the bike up to standard, his work paying off tremendously for the brand.
