MotoGP: Yamaha unveil 2022 title challenger
2021 MotoGP World Champions Yamaha are aiming to repeat the feat in 2022.
After a glittering and highly successful 2021 MotoGP Season, Yamaha are attempting to back up their 2021 title again in 2022, unveiling their 2022 rider line up and livery with confidence that history can repeat itself.
Fabio Quartararo had a stellar 2021 season after spending the pre-season with sports psychologists, it was clear that this method was highly effective as he was able to comfortably lead the MotoGP World Championship without crushing under the pressure as he did in 2020, on the other side of the garage Franco Morbidelli will debut full-time in the factory Yamaha colours after taking over the reigns vacated by Maverick Vinales late last year, Morbidelli had a tough season after battling with injury but is confident he can return to the 2020 form that saw him victorious three times.
Yamaha face tough competition this year with the likes of Ducati and Honda stepping up their game and Marc Marquez looking increasingly like he will start the season in Qatar, if he can continue where he left off at Misano then he will be an instant contender, over at Ducati Francesco Bagnaia looks to be Yamaha’s biggest competition with the Ducati man becoming Quartararo’s last competitor for the 2021 world championship.
Yamaha will be putting it all on the line once again this year to try and win the title, it’s going to be a good season!
