Moto3 Aragon FP3: Dennis Foggia leads into qualifying
Dennis Foggia was the fastest Moto3 rider heading into qualifying.
Dennis Foggia was the fastest rider in this morning’s Moto3 session in Aragon, blasting his way to the top of the timesheets in the final moments of the session to demote rookie Izan Guevara from the top spot down to P2 only 0.025 seconds back.
Darryn Binder was the third fastest rider in the session finishing within 0.101 seconds from leader Foggia, firmly putting him in contention for pole position later on today in qualifying with Gabriel Rodrigo a mere 0.007 seconds back proving once again that Moto3 is extremely competitive this weekend with Deniz Oncu rounding out the top three.
Rookies Lorenzo Fellon and Pedro Acosta were able to finish within the top 10 with Fellon putting in yet another incredibly impressive performance, the 17 year old showing he’s got the pace to impress in the class, joining these two in Q2 later today will be Xavier Artigas, Artigas battled Guevara for the win here last year and knows this track incredibly well.
For some the Q1 session beckons them, this includes Ayumu Sasaki, Tatsuki Suzuki and Filip Salac.
