Moto2 Catalunya FP2: Remy Gardner leads Red Bull KTM Ajo 1-2

These Red Bull KTM Ajo boys are on fire, 1-2 again.

Remy Gardner and his teammate Raul Fernandez once again sit atop a session in a 1-2 as the duo attack the intermediate championship title, the pair are fairly consistent this year and are untouchable weekend after weekend with the pair regularly featuring on the podium. Raul Fernandez is known to be a pole hound and already has two to his name so we can expect a third later this afternoon.

There is another Fernandez now in the mix as Augusto Fernandez has finally found the form he has been missing, the rapid Spaniard has finished consistently within the top 5 this weekend and could be a massive shout for the podium tomorrow, he leads Aron Canet on the Boscoscuro chassis with Bo Bendsneyder just behind in P5.

Marco Bezzecchi was the sixth-fastest rider, the Italian rider sits in third place in the championship standings and will need to be on the podium this weekend if he wants to have a chance of staying with the Ajo boys in the championship battle. Further down Sam Lowes suffered yet another crash in P9, the British rider seemingly falling back into his old ways of crashing far too much and costing himself valuable points.

Joe Roberts took the 11th placed spot with Fabio Di Giannantonio all the way down in P22 after a massive high side crash.
