Valentino Rossi has produced a negative COVID-19 PCR test and will race this weekend.

Valentino Rossi has produced a negative COVID-19 PCR test and will return to racing tomorrow for the European GP.

Rossi missed the two races at Aragon after testing positive for COVID-19. To be able to return, he must test negative for the virus with two PCR tests as per FIM regulations.

He was able to test negative for the virus yesterday (Thursday) and flew to Valencia to attempt to race if he was able to pass a second test.

After being replaced by Garrett Gerloff for FP1 and FP2, Rossi was able to test negative for the virus a second time and will take back the reins from Gerloff and race.
