Marc Marquez shows off X-Ray images

Marc Marquez has unveiled the X-ray images of his broken humerus following his crash at Jerez

Marc Marquez broke his arm following a shocking hi-side crash at the season opener in Jerez, the break was caused by the bike hitting Marquez in the gravel.

There have been many photos posted supposedly being the 8-time champions X-rays, however the man himself has provided photo and video evidence of the damage to his arm.

The video and pictures show off the state of his arm before and after Dr Xavier Mir put 12 pins in his arm to hold the bone together.

In one of the most shocking comebacks to racing we have ever seen, the Spaniard returned to the track on Thursday following an operation on the Tuesday following the crash, passed a medical test and set times in FP3 and FP4 before withdrawing from the weekend due to pain.

Impressively the rider was within 1 second of the leader in the FP4 session.

Marquez stated after that if he didn’t try to ride, he ‘would not have been able to sleep’.

He will try again to race at Brno, however if he wants to win the title, he will have to claw back a 50 point deficit from Frenchman and two time winner Fabio Quartararo.
