MotoGP: Jack Miller looking for his first Ducati win
Jack Miller is looking to take his first Ducati win at the Valencia track as we head into a doubleheader there this weekend and the weekend after.
Valencia 2019 was an incredibly strong race for Jack Miller, fighting for the victory before taking a P3 finish but running with leaders Marc Marquez and Fabio Quartararo for the entire race with good pace, Miller has good memories of the circuit, looking back to his race win at the track in 2014 on the Moto3 KTM ahead of his MotoGP jump the following season.
Miller has been chasing his first Ducati win since he moved to the manufacturer in the Pramac squad in 2018, taking many podiums in the P3 spot with his first P2 in the Ducati colours at Styria 2020, he hopes to do one better in Pramac colours.
He has previously said that he wants to win for the Pramac team to repay them for the work and the faith they put in him when he moved from the Marc VDS squad, this is before he moves to the Factory Ducati team for 2021 with Francesco Bagnaia, therefore to seal a win with the team would be the perfect send-off. This win would also make Miller the first rider since MotoGP moved from the 500cc machines to win a race for two different satellite teams, if he wins again in factory colours, he would be the first rider to win for three different teams in the modern MotoGP set up.
He will need to be able to fend off Joan Mir who is looking for his first premier class win, plus the other stuff competition he is up against in 2020 to be able to do so.
