MotoGP Rumour Mill: Dovizioso in talks with Petronas Yamaha and Zarco to Factory Ducati?

Welcome to the rumour mill where we discuss rumours in the MotoGP paddock.

Please take all rumours with a pinch of salt as they are just RUMOURS.

The current rumour is that Andrea Dovizioso has spoken with the Petronas Yamaha team for 2021, Dovizioso is out of a contract at the end of 2020, as is compatriot Valentino Rossi, all eyes are on Rossi to ride for the Petronas team, however, talks have gone on for weeks and weeks now with no conclusion, there are many things to iron out and these rumours could just be a way of making Valentino sign before someone else does, but, it is a rumour nonetheless.

Another rumour sneaking about is that Johann Zarco has signed a deal with the factory Ducati deal over Francesco Bagnaia, Ducati have confirmed that their 2021 rider next to Jack Miller will be confirmed before Misano, there are rumours that the name of Miller’s teammate is Johann Zarco, we will find out more information over the coming week.

Enea Bastianini has also been unofficially confirmed at the Avintia MotoGP team for 2021, replacing Johann Zarco in the squad who is likely moving to the factory team.

As we have said, do not take these rumours as fact, they are only paddock talk and hold little weight.
