MotoGP: Gresini racing unveil 2022 machines
Gresini Racing has unveiled their 2022 livery and riders.
Enea Bastianini and Fabio Di Giannantonio will line up in 2022 in the interesting light blue livery unveiled today, both riders will ride the GP21 machines and have the potential to impress. The team have split with Aprilia to once again become an independent team and chose Ducati as their manufacturer which brings the total of Ducati’s on the 2022 grid up to eight.
Enea Bastianini took home two podiums as a MotoGP rookie in 2021 on a two-year-old GP19 and showed he has a high level of potential, now that he has a more updated machine which has been noted to have shown a huge improvement in its weak areas including cornering, there is no doubt he will be able to push for more rostrum finishes in the Gresini Racing colours.
Fabio Di Giannantonio moves up to MotoGP with the team he started his Grand Prix career in Moto3, eventually re-joining for 2021 in Moto2 and being promoted to the premier class with the squad, he scored podiums and victories in both classes in the Gresini colours and has been tipped for many as a dark horse for this season.
