Moto2 Emilia Romagna FP3: Augusto Fernandez leads overall into qualifying

A wet FP3 Moto2 session meant no Moto2 riders could improve their time heading into qualifying.

Augusto Fernandez secures the top position heading into qualifying as the entire Moto2 grid failed to improve their overall times after wet conditions continued this morning to slow down lap times, their FP2 times yesterday were set in a dry session explaining the disparity.

Remy Gardner finished up in second ahead of a Petronas Moto2 duo of Xavi Vierge and Jake Dixon, both riders looked fairly strong this weekend when the dry conditions made their rare appearance.

Rookie Celestino Vietti went fifth fastest leading Sam Lowes and the rookie duo of Ai Ogura and Raul Fernandez with Somkiat Chantra and yet another rookie of Fermin Aldeguer in P10 who achieved his goal of direct Q2 once again.

Finishing the Q2 spots were Stefano Manzi, Marcoz Ramirez, Thomas Luthi and Aron Canet the last rider, this means that Marco Bezzecchi, Jorge Navarro, FP3 leader Tony Arbolino and Fabio Diggia down in Q1.
