WorldSBK: Michael Ruben Rinaldi re-signs for Aruba.it Ducati

Michael Ruben Rinaldi will continue to race for the Aruba.it team for 2022 with Alvaro Bautista.

Ducati have confirmed that Italian rider Michael Ruben Rinaldi will continue in their factory WorldSBK team for 2022 alongside returning rider Alvaro Bautista who has been drafted in to replaced the BMW bound Scott Redding.

So far in 2021 he has been fairly competitive currently sat in P6 in the standings with two race wins and four podiums, completing a podium triple at Misano before adding a fourth podium in the Superpole race of Assen.

He is expected to continue to adapt and learn this year ahead of a fully blown title battle for 2022 as Ducati’s home hero, being their chosen Italian rider for their factory squad.
