Moto2 Portimao: Full Race Results

Remy Gardner wins his first-ever Moto2 race after an intense race.

Remy Gardner has taken his first-ever Moto2 class race win after an intense battle against Luca Marini which saw the pair slicing and dicing it out, however, Remy’s superior Sector 4 pace meant he could outfox Marini every lap onto the straight which eventually got Remy the win, his last lap of the race was even faster than his pole position time from qualifying. Remy is the first Moto2 race winner from Australia since Anthony West.

Sam Lowes raced the race of his life, struggling with his wrist pain he fought away and took home P3 overall, a podium he never expected given he had 2 broken bones in his hand and was unsure he’d even finish the race, what a ride.
