Moto2/3 Portimao: Remy Gardner and Jaume Masia take the FP3 crown
Remy Gardner and Jaume Masia head the FP3 sessions.
Remy Gardner leads a duo of rookies in the FP3 session, dominating by 0.316 seconds ahead of Hector Garzo and Marco Ramirez, Garzo fresh off the back of his debut MotoGP class podium and looking to do the same again this weekend, Marcos Ramirez has been improving steadily and is impressing in Portimao with P3 overall in FP3.
Moto2 title contender Luca Marini took fourth place, a massive 0.473 from P1, clearly showing how much faster Gardner was than the others, Aron Canet is the 3rd rookie in the top 5 ahead of Augusto Fernandez who has majorly struggled this season but is finding form.
Enea Bastianini, another rider fighting for the title, finishes in P7 ahead of Xavi Vierge then Fabio Di Giannantonio who is looking to win his first race after crashing out of P1 multiple times.
Sam Lowes rounded off the session in P10 with a crash at the end, rider OK.

Moto3
Jaume Masia, Gardner’s teammate in 2021, took P1 overall in FP3 ahead of title leader Albert Arenas who wants that title trophy this season, finishing 0.303 behind Masia in P1, another huge gap.
The front two were joined by the Gresini duo of Jeremy Alcoba then Gabriel Rodrigo in P3 and P4, the duo putting in an impressive performance ahead of qualifying, Deniz Oncu, another rider showing pace this weekend sits in P5, chasing his debut Moto3 podium.
Andrea Migno was the sixth-placed rider ahead of Kaito Toba in his last Red Bull KTM race, Sergio Garica was the eigth-placed man ahead of Raul Fernandez who has been officially confirmed to move to Moto2 for 2021.
Celestino Vietti finished the session in P10 as Barry Baltus impresses making his way into Q2.
