Moto2/3 Valencia: Marco Bezzecchi and Deniz Oncu set the FP3 pace

Marco Bezzecchi and Deniz Oncu topped the timesheets in the Moto2 and Moto3 FP3 sessions.

Marco Bezzecchi was the fastest Moto2 man this morning in the FP3 session, he led the two Moto2 rookies of Hector Garzo and Marcos Ramirez, both riders who are continuing to impress this season, going strength to strength each session, the due were only 0.013 (Garzo) and 0.025 (Ramirez) from P1, we are looking at an impressive qualifying session later today.

Fabio Di Giannantonio was the fourth fastest man, he also was within 0.1 seconds of Marco Bezzecchi in P1.

Sam Lowes was the fifth fastest rider, 0.128 from P1 in the session, the British rider suffered a big crash during the session and walked away holding his wrist, we can confirm no broken bones for Lowes.

Bo Bendsneyder was the rider in P6, he is rumoured to leave the class for the EAB Yamaha World Supersport team for 2021.

Nicolo Bulega finished in P7, just 0.220 from P1 ahead of Marcel Schrotter and Stefano Manzi on the MV Agusta.

Joe Roberts was the 10th fastest rider, suffering a crash during the session, finishing 0.270 from P1 as the top 16 riders finish within 0.5 seconds of P1.

Moto3

Deniz Oncu leads the Moto3 FP3 session following a fast weekend so far, the twin of Moto3 race winner Can Oncu takes the top spot at the same circuit his twin won at two years ago in the FP3 session. Oncu led second-placed Albert Arenas by just 0.31 seconds as the pair put a 0.2-second gap to Dennis Foggia in P3.

Romano Fenati yet again finds himself in the top spots of a free practice session sat in P4 on the Husqvarna, Fenati led Tatsuki Suzuki to P5, a gap of 0.033 between them.

Last time race winner Raul Fernandez was the rider sat in sixth, he is looking to double up this weekend and take his second win in the class after his dominant victory last time out, he lead Ryusei Yamanaka who’s name has not been mentioned as much as it should have been this year.

Reportedly out of a ride, Davide Pizzoli makes sure to make his name heard, putting in a P8 time for the FP3 session, a rider who is faster than the machinery he is riding.

John McPhee will be looking to finish tomorrows race with 3 x DNF in the last 5 races, he finishes ahead of Gabriel Rodrigo in P10, 0.516 from P1.
