Title leader Luca Marini finished in third place, looking to gain some pace in the qualifying session later today. Fabio Di Giannantonio is making major strides this season, taking fourth place after having issues all season with the new front wheel size.
Jorge Martin finished in the top 5, he returns after missing both of the Misano races following a positive COVID-19 test.
Marcel Schrotter took the sixth spot leading Marco Bezzecchi who suffered a crash in the session. Remy Gardner who returns from injury is not letting this hinder him, finishing in P8 ahead of Xavi Vierge.
