MotoGP Emilia Romagna: Bastianini and Fernandez lead FP1 in Moto2 and Moto3

It was Enea Bastianini and Raul Fernandez who took the top spots in the FP1 session of the Moto2 and Moto3 classes at the Emilia Romagna race weekend.

Enea Bastianini took the Moto2 top spot as he looks to take some championship points from Luca Marini this weekend, Moto2 veteran Thomas Luthi took second place with Sam Lowes in third.

A welcome surprise of Hector Garzo and Nicolo Bulega in the fourth and fifth positions leaves us hopeful for a great race weekend.

Title leader Luca Marini ended the session in sixth place overall ahead of ex-title leader Tetsuta Nagashima then Aron Canet.

Marco Bezzecchi and Marcel Schrotter close the top 10, Schrotter 0.434 from P1.

Moto3:

Raul Fernandez once again occupied the top spot in a Moto3 practice session with rookie Jeremy Alcoba in P2 followed by Dennis Foggia.

Teammate to Alcoba, Gabriel Rodrigo was the fourth fastest man overall with Andrea Migno capping off the top 5.

Jaume Masia was the sixth-fastest man with a huge gap of 0.143 to P7 man Filip Salac.

Title leader Albert Arenas took the eighth spot ahead of Darryn Binder then Ayumu Sasaki.
