MotoGP Styria: Johann Zarco passed as fit to race

Johann Zarco will participate this weekend after passing the medical test.

Zarco has passed his fitness test following surgery on a fractured scaphoid on Wednesday which was injured in the crash last weekend. He was unable to do a fitness test ahead of Friday’s action as it wasn’t 48 hours after his operation, however following this test he will begin his race weekend on Saturday morning.

If Zarco qualifies for the race he will start from last place, a penalty imposed after he was found to be ‘riding irresponsibly’ causing the crash last weekend.
