Valentino Rossi – “I have very good memories in Portugal”

Valentino Rossi speaks on MotoGP going to Portimao, remembering his battles in Estoril including 2006

Rossi came second in one of the closest MotoGP finishes ever, being beaten at the line by Toni Elias by just 0.002, losing 5 points which cost Rossi the 2006 title.

Speaking on Portimau Rossi said, “I’m very curious to ride in Portimao because MotoGP [has] never been there and is an incredible track, is like a rollercoaster, I think it is at the level of Phillip Island, it has some difficult points so will be very challenging to try to be strong there.”
