Jerez MotoGP: Luca Marini and Gabriel Rodrigo set the pace
Moto2 and Moto3 are setting up to have some fantastic seasons this year
Luca Marini was straight on the pace in Jerez this morning in Moto2, finishing 0.048 faster than Jorge Navarro followed by teammate Marco Bezzecchi who has come from the KTM.
Qatar race winner Tetsuta Nagashima finished the session in P4 overall showing his pace.
British rider Sam Lowes who is riding for Marc VDS this year ended the session in P6, a make or break year this year for Sam.
Rounding out the top 10 are Joe Roberts (P9) and Hafizh Syahrin (P10) in his Moto2 return after 2 years in MotoGP.
In Moto3, Gabriel Rodrigo set a new lap record. Finishing the session 0.430 faster than Raul Fernandez in P2. Scotsman John McPhee finished in P3.
2019 CEV Moto3 champion and rookie Jeremy Alcoba impressed in P5 with Qatar winner Albert Arenas in P8. The top 10 was rounded off by Tony Arbolino.
