MotoGP Styria: Rookie Aron Canet takes sensational pole. Gabriel Rodrigo takes Moto3 pole
Aron Canet has taken a stunning pole position in Moto2 as a rookie, in Moto3 Gabriel Rodrigo starts tomorrows race from first place.
Rookie Aron Canet continues to impress in his first Moto2 season on the Speed Up taking his first pole position in Austria ahead Red Bull Ajo due of Jorge Martin and Tetsuta Nagashima.
Augusto Fernandez has returned to form in Moto2 taking fourth place overall ahead of Marco Bezzecchi then Remy Gardner who crashed out at turn 1.
Thomas Luthi begins row 3 in seventh place, an improvement for the rider but more is expected from Luthi, Hector Garzo impresses with an eighth-place finish in his rookie season, Jorge Navarro is the ninth-placed man with Niccolo Bulega completing the top 10.

Gabriel Rodrigo storms to the Moto3 pole position just 0.012 ahead of Raul Fernandez, Tatsuki Suzuki rounds off the front row ahead of tomorrow.
Row 2 begins with Tony Arbolino in fourth ahead of Celestino Vietti both will be looking to take their first podium of the season followed by title contender John McPhee.
Dennis Foggia is the first man on row 3 with Ai Ogura in either and Albert Arenas in the ninth position. Darryn Binder has qualified a lot better in 10th place meaning he has less work to do tomorrow.
