Moto2 Misano Qualifying: Raul Fernandez takes yet another pole position
Moto3 and now Moto2 pole hound Raul Fernandez takes pole position at Misano.
Raul Fernandez does it again taking yet his fifth Moto2 pole position leaving it very late into the session with Raul Fernandez, Gardner and Lowes swapping places at the top of the timesheets within the final minutes of the session before Raul Fernandez slapped down a lap time 0.351 seconds faster than Sam Lowes to lead the way in the Moto2 class yet again despite his hand injury. Fellow Fernandez, Augusto, finished in third place to round out the top three in the session and start from the front row a massive 0.524 seconds from Raul, something tells us that Raul will be the favourite for the win tomorrow!
Leading row two is Remy Gardner and a pair of Boscoscuro riders namely Aron Canet than Jorge Navarro, the Boscoscuro chassis worked incredibly well over in Aragon and Silverstone and its run of form looks to be continuing to Italian soil for the 2022 Pons Racing riders who led Xavi Vierge and Marco Bezzecchi on row two.
Rounding out the top 10 were Fabio Di Giannantonio and Lorenzo Dalla Porta who came via Q1. Some riders who really struggled and didn’t escape Q1 were Jake Dixon, Tony Arbolino and Bo Bendsneyder.
