WorldSBK Most FP2: Garrett Gerloff leads wet FP2 session
Garrett Gerloff led the way in the FP2 session at Most.
Garrett Gerloff topped a soaking wet FP2 session where we saw only 9 riders within the 107% guidelines for the session with monumental gaps between riders, he led Toprak Razgatlioglu by 0.451 seconds with Axel Bassani only 0.640 from the lead, however from there everything gets a little pear-shaped with gaps as far as 23 seconds down from Ponsson.
Alvaro Bautista came home in fourth place over two seconds off the leader Garrett Gerloff with Fritz another 0.500 seconds back in P5
Honestly, at this point there’s no use writing more about the wet of the track or the lap times as they are pretty much useless and unimportant, the rain is expected all weekend and the riders seriously cannot be expected to race in these sorts of conditions given how wet and slippy the surface is, it’s very likely that the races may not even go ahead if it continues like this with it becoming more of a safety risk than just some water on the race track.
