MotoGP: Pramac Racing confirm Jorge Martin and Johann Zarco for 2022
Pramac Ducati will retain their current MotoGP lineup for 2022.
Pramac Ducati have confirmed they will continue with their current lineup of Johann Zarco and Jorge Martin for 2022, both have podiums this year in MotoGP with Johann Zarco currently sat in second place overall in the MotoGP standings. Zarco has stormed to success this year aboard a current factory spec GP21 taking three podiums in six races in his most successful season so far in the premier class.
On the other side of the garage is Jorge Martin who took a stunning pole position at Doha before backing this up with a podium during the race, unfortunately we have been unable to see any more stellar performances from the Spaniard as he was injured in Portimao and has been sat on the sidelines since. Thankfully he will return to action this weekend at Catalunya, his home round.
Both riders will continue to be able to take advantage of factory machinery next year with support from Ducati to give them the best possible chances of fighting for race wins.
Paolo Campinoti: “We are very satisfied to be able to continue this “project” with Johann and Jorge, two guys with whom we are very good and with whom we are achieving excellent results. Both we and Ducati firmly believe in their abilities; we couldn’t be happier.”
Paolo Ciabatti: “Johann and Jorge this year have entered the Pramac Racing team very well so, together with Paolo Campinoti and Francesco Guidotti, we have decided to continue with them for 2022. We will make the official bikes available to both of them also for next season. and we are sure that they will still give us much satisfaction.”
