MotoGP Valencia: Could Jack Miller be the 10th race winner?
Jack Miller could be the 10th different winner this season tomorrow at Valencia.
Jack Miller qualified in P2 overall ahead of the Valencia GP, feeling confident about the race at a track he has historically gone well at, recording a Moto3 race win and a podium here in 2019.
Miller has been chasing a Pramac Ducati race win for some time now and it could be on the cards tomorrow provided he can have a good start and manage his tyres well, he has already confirmed he is feeling confident and strong on the bike meaning there is no reason why he cannot shoot for the win.
“I feel really good, even in FP4 I was on the pace and strong, improving my lap time, there were tricky conditions on the track, it was greasy, you couldn’t touch curbs or white lines,” said Miller.
“The more laps I did the more confident I was, we can be very happy with this, it’s important to be on the front row.”
Confidence is key for Miller who has been consistently strong all weekend, finishing in the top 3 for many of the free practice sessions, he has a real chance of firing in a great race result.
“Tomorrow we will try to finish the job off correctly, I have been working hard on my pace and have been strong, you need to be in the race to understand it.”
If he can win tomorrow, it will be his first race win since Assen 2016, he will also become the first rider to win on 2 manufacturers riding for satellite teams.
