MotoGP Misano: Sam Lowes and Raul Fernandez lead FP1

It was Sam Lowes and Raul Fernandez who were the fastest men in FP1 this morning.

Sam Lowes sets the pace for this weekend in Moto2, leading Luca Marini by 0.230 who is followed by his teammate Marco Bezzecchi.

German Marcel Schrotter is showing good pace in fourth place whilst Enea Bastianini looks to cut into Marini’s title lead finishing in fifth ahead of Aron Canet.

Tetsuta Nagashima places in seventh with Lorenzo Baldassarri, Nicolo Bulega then Augusto Fernandez following behind, Fernandez closes the top 10 0.760 from P1.

Raul Fernandez leads yet another Free Practice session, the rider proving he is fast in a one lap situation leading Gabriel Rodrigo by 0.234 with Ayumu Sasaki in third.

John McPhee was next up in line in fourth place who led Styria race winner Celestino Vietti in fifth place. Stefano Nepa has impressed in sixth place, the rookie showing some promise.

Tony Arbolino leads the championship leader Albert Arenas who sits in eighth followed by last years winner Tatsuki Suzuki and Sergio Garcia in tenth.
