BREAKING NEWS: Jorge Martin has tested positive for COVID-19

Jorge Martin has tested positive for COVID-19 and will miss the two races at Misano.

The Moto2 title contender will sit out the two races at Misano as he has tested positive for COVID-19.

Martin will now isolate himself from his team until a negative test can be provided. If Martin cannot test negative for the test, he must quarantine for 14 days, missing both Misano races. If true, he will become the first rider in the MotoGP/2/3 paddock to test positive for the virus.

This will dramatically shake up the Moto2 championship as currently, he sits in third place overall, tied with Enea Bastianini, just 8 points behind leader Luca Marini.
